- The Classic series has been designed SPECIFICALY for mounting to a vehicle, for mobile use
- When used off the vehicle in a portable configuration, the factory default resonance on each band will change. A very, very good ground system or counterpoise must be used.
- Mounting the antenna to a spike in the ground is not a sufficient counterpoise.
